Mud Painting by the beach
Join artist Sara Dudman and geologist Mathilde Braddock for a chat about art, geology and how the two can intertwine and help enhance our understanding of (and empathy for) our natural surroundings. And explore painting with muds from the Somerset coast!

About the Event
Who? With geologist Mathilde Braddock and artist Sara Dudman.
Where? Overlooking the beach, outside the Cove Café, by the National Trust carpark at Brean Down, TA8 2RS
When? Join us at 10am, 12pm or 2pm to explore painting with muds collected from the Somerset coast. Find out about the coast, the geology and art techniques with an artist and geologist on hand to share their knowledge and passion.
All welcome: young, old or middle-aged! Bring your questions, enquiring minds and creativity.
This event is part of ‘SHIFT: Nine Artists Respond to Somerset’s Brilliant Coast’, a project led in partnership by Contains Art and Somerset Wildlife Trust. Exhibition coming soon to East Quay, Watchet.
