Youth Ambassador

Number of available positions: 2

Role: You will develop an engagement strategy and create content for a demographic between 12-20 year olds. You will make innovative use of apps like tiktok and create YouTube videos presenting Plover Rovers content aimed at a diverse young audience. There is scope for wider involvement, for example assisting in setting up a buddy-system which partners interested youths with scientists. Your own level of engagement will determine how far you can take this role!

Requirements: Ideally, you are under 20 years of age, perhaps an A-Level student with focus on environmental sciences, biology or related. You are highly skilled in the use of different Social Media platforms and are creative, have an engaging personality and are outgoing and comfortable around people. Members of the BAME and LGTB+ communities are especially encouraged to apply.

Please note: This is not a typical "educator" role! We are looking for peers to engage peers!
